Product Introduction
Chrome Corundum Brick is a high-performance refractory brick manufactured from high-purity alpha alumina, chrome corundum clinker, chromium oxide powder and selected binders.
During production, the raw materials are mixed, shaped and fired at high temperature to form a dense refractory structure. Grouting and casting methods can also be used to manufacture complex or special-shaped products.
The main mineral phase is an Al₂O₃-Cr₂O₃ solid solution. Depending on the formulation, the brick may also contain a small amount of composite spinel. The chromium oxide content can be adjusted according to the required wear resistance, corrosion resistance and application conditions.
Compared with conventional corundum brick, Chrome Corundum Brick provides improved resistance to high-temperature wear, slag penetration, molten material corrosion and hot gas scouring. It is suitable for severe furnace areas requiring both high mechanical strength and chemical stability.

Chrome Corundum Brick is mainly used as a working lining in industrial furnaces exposed to high temperatures, abrasion, slag erosion and chemical corrosion.

The appropriate grade should be selected according to operating temperature, furnace atmosphere, slag composition, abrasion intensity, mechanical load and contact material.
