Product Introduction

High Alumina Insulation Brick is a lightweight refractory insulation material containing more than 48% alumina. It has a porous internal structure, low bulk density, low thermal conductivity, and good resistance to high temperatures.

Compared with dense refractory bricks, high alumina insulation bricks absorb less heat and reduce heat loss through furnace walls. They are widely used as insulation linings and backup insulation layers in industrial furnaces, kilns, boilers, and other high-temperature thermal equipment.

Features

  • Low bulk density and light weight.
  • Low thermal conductivity.
  • Good thermal insulation performance.
  • High temperature resistance.
  • Good thermal shock resistance.
  • Low heat storage capacity.
  • Easy to cut and install.
  • Stable performance at high temperatures.

Applications

High Alumina Insulation Bricks are suitable for a wide range of industrial insulation applications, including:

  • Industrial Furnace Insulation
  • Ceramic Kilns
  • Tunnel Kilns
  • Heat Treatment Furnaces
  • Glass Furnaces
  • Cement Kilns
  • Petrochemical Furnaces
  • Hot Blast Stoves
  • Industrial Boilers
  • Furnace Walls and Roofs
  • Backup Insulation Layers
  • Other High-Temperature Thermal Equipment

They are commonly used as lightweight insulation linings or backup insulation behind dense refractory materials. They may also be used in furnace areas exposed to flame and hot gases, but are not recommended for areas directly exposed to severe slag erosion.
