Product Introduction
Refractory Cement CA50 is a calcium aluminate cement containing approximately 50% alumina. It is mainly used as a hydraulic binder in refractory castables, refractory mortars, gunning materials and refractory precast products.
The main mineral component of CA50 cement is calcium aluminate. After mixing with water, it develops strength through a hydraulic setting reaction. Compared with ordinary cement, it provides faster hardening, higher early strength and better performance in high-temperature refractory formulations.
Refractory Cement CA50 has good rheological properties and can be used with casting, vibration and gunning construction methods. Three grades, A600, A700 and A900, are available for different requirements regarding setting time, purity, workability and mechanical strength.

A600 is commonly selected for conventional high-cement refractory castables and applications requiring rapid hardening.
A700 has lower impurity content and stable strength development. It is suitable for low-cement castables and general high-performance refractory formulations.
A900 is manufactured from higher-purity raw materials. It provides higher alumina content, lower SiO₂ content and greater mechanical strength than A600 and A700. It is suitable for refractory products requiring stable setting, good workability and high strength.
